Travel Information

Preparing for your journey to a Zenoko retreat is the first step in your restorative experience. Here is what to expect for your retreat in Japan.

Arrival & Transportation

We aim to choose retreat locations that are as accessible as possible by public transport for your convenience. If the property isn’t within walking distance of the nearest station, we’ll arrange a pickup where possible. If pickup isn’t available, we kindly ask that you make your own way to the property—we’ll provide clear directions to ensure a smooth and easy arrival.

Travel Documents

We may request pictures of your passport for identification and booking verification purposes, ensuring a smooth check-in process at the retreat.

Time of Arrival

We typically begin the retreat at the property with a welcome lunch at 1pm. If the retreat starts later than 1pm, we kindly ask that you have lunch beforehand; in that case, we’ll begin with tea time—an opportunity to relax, mingle, and get to know each other.
